There are approximately 396 students and 62 staff members at Redwood Elementary School.
Our school is known for its theme of "Choose Kind". Students, staff, and family members find ways to model this theme in many ways throughout the year.
Over the past few years Redwood has won the National PTA School of Excellence Award and has become a Positive Discipline Pilot School. Redwood's mission statement is: The Redwood Family is dedicated to love, learning, and putting students first!

Free summer sessions are returning to Grants Pass School District 7.
From science camps and art, to learning guitar and American Sign Language, there will be fun, engaging, learning opportunities available for all students in kindergarten through 8th grade.
For the fourth year, every elementary student in Grants Pass School District 7 will participate in One District, One Book. The program designed by the District’s Title 1 Coordinators creates a shared reading experience across the district.
The Grants Pass School Board has selected Mr. Tim Sweeney to serve as the next superintendent of Grants Pass School District 7 schools. Mr. Sweeney has accepted the position effective July 1, 2022.
